Attorney John M. Kovac has practiced law in Illinois for over 30 years.
His practice focuses on complex Plaintiff’s personal injury and wrongful death claims, including: medical malpractice, nursing home injuries, product defects, construction accidents, premises liability, auto/trucking accident cases, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, workers’ compensation cases, insurance coverage disputes and real estate litigation.
Mr. Kovac champions the rights of individuals. He has successfully litigated cases in State and Federal court and argued cases before the Illinois Appellate Court and Illinois Supreme Court. He has also testified as an expert legal witness and represented clients before the Illinois Court of Claims, Illinois Human Rights Commission, Illinois Department of Labor, Cook County Zoning Board and Social Security Administration. He is also admitted to practice in Federal Court in Wisconsin.
Mr. Kovac started his own practice to better serve his clients. He believes that a well informed client is the foundation of a strong attorney-client relationship. He is readily accessible to clients and takes the time necessary to explain matters to his clients so that they fully understand their options and can make well informed decisions. It is his earnest desire to obtain just compensation for every client.
Before starting his own practice, Mr. Kovac worked for several prominent Chicago law firms.
